Amazon has announced that the new Kindle, Kindle 2, will be available for $359 starting February 24.
In other news… no one cares.
I’m not a fan. First of all, I rarely read more than one book at a time, and don’t subscribe to any newspapers. Secondly, I like the idea of having a lot of books. I like turning the page. I like the feeling of starting a new book and holding all of the unread pages in my right hand. I love the feeling of finishing a book and holding all the pages in my left. I like looking at my bookshelf and seeing the books I’ve read and the ones I haven’t started. That being said, if Amazon started something where whenever I buy the hardcopy of a book, I get the e-version for free, I might be more considerate. Listen to me, Amazon… I want two copies for the price of one!
